The scammers opened an office in Lahore’s Ghalib Market area for leasing cars on low markup and attracted many people through advertisement.Dozens of people approached them to get cars on low markup and handed them hefty amounts as booking fee.The scammers signed stamp papers and gave guarantee checks against the amount they had received from their clients.When people reached their offices on the promise date to get the delivery of cars, they found the office was locked.The fraud-victims lodge a protest against the incident.
