Summary Two Railways officials were held while another suspended for involvement in selling fake tickets.
Railways Headquarter took action after airing a news on Dunya News and recovered fake tickets worth Rs 18,72,000 from Sahiwal Railways Station. The management had registered a case and arrested two officials Zafar Tariq and Muzhar Hussain, while Commercial Manager Inspector Muhammad Hussain has been suspended.Earlier, Railways officials had verified that all the tickets recovered from Sahiwal station were bogus.Inquiry officer Chief Commercial Manager had suggested prompt action against responsible and checking of record of all stations.
