Summary Bird owners from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa gathered in Attock for a bird chirping competition.
Chirping of partridges is considered pleasing. The Punjab Wild Life Department organised a chirping competition between partridges in Attock to promote awareness about the preservation of the specie.Some 150 partridges were brought to take part in the competition.A partridge had to chirp continuously or out-chirped its fellows to win the contest. A bird from Peshawar took the honour by chirping for more than 1 hour.
