Karachi: PPP embark on peace journey

Political leaders said that the offer made by MQM chief Altaf Husssain was a gorgeous step. It seems that the political forces apparently have started to implement decisions for peace.Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Mamon along with his companions waved white flags and participated in the journey for peace. He also gave message of peace to the High Courts and the Sharif brothers.Senate’s Deputy Chairman Jan Muhammad Jamali also visited the Sindh Assembly and met Acting Speaker Shahla Raza. Both leaders appealed for peace and tranquility in the city.PML-Q’s Provincial Minister for Tourism Muhammad Ali Malkani has said that his party was playing the role of a bridge to end gap between the MQM and the PPP, adding that his party has agreed with the stance of both parties pertaining to consolidation of peace.The Provincial Minister for Excise Makaish Chawala appealed minority community to cooperate with the government for establishment of peace.
