Summary The female patients suffering from getting spurious injection have been shifted to ICU.

The condition of 16 female patients deteriorated after they were injected CALAMOX injection at the maternity ward of the Lady Aitcheson Hospital (LAH). The female patients were immediately shifted to ICU ward.The relatives and attendants of female patients protested against the doctors accusing them of giving expired injection to the patients.However, the Medical Superintendent of the Lady Aitcheson Hospital, Dr Shagufta Zaidi has denied the allegation of giving expired injection to the patients.Meanwhile, the government has formed a 5-member committee under Prof Samia Malik to investigate the incident. The committee will present its finding in three days.
