Summary Nine people were killed in a road accident between a van and a truck at Chawan Bridge, Khanewal.
A family was going to see off its members who were going to offer Umrah. On their way to Multan Airport, their van had a collision with a truck coming from the opposite direction. Including two children and three women, nine people were killed in the incident while eight others were injured. The injured were shifted to Kabirwala Hospital, Nishtar Hospital and Khanewal Hospital.Police have arrested the truck driver.
