Summary Lahore police have finalised a plan for foolproof security during Ramazan.
A high-level meeting was held at CCPO Ahmed Raza Tahir’s office to review security arrangements for Ramazan. The CCPO said he was personally against setting up pickets in the city, but they were indispensable for security. He said security would be scaled up during the Sehr, Iftar and Taraweeh hours in addition to overall increase in security round the clock. He said inspectors have been deputed in the city to provide better security to the citizens.The CCPO said all resources available to police would be used for Ramazan security.
