The breach in the Muhabatwah Canal submerged three villages and cotton and mango crops on a wide scale.According to the Irrigation Department, it will take about 24 hours to fill the breach.It is pertinent to mention, a breach also occurred at the same place n the recent past but the department did not take steps to avert a repeat.
