Summary The Sindh government has abolished the post of regional police officer in Sukkur and Hyderabad.
After the restoration of the commissionerate system in Sindh, the office of the regional police officer in Sukkur and Hyderabad was abolished.The police DIG will look over the matters under the commissionerate system.However, considering the sensitivity in Karachi, the capital city police officer and the divisional DIGs will continue to work.
