Summary CDGKs activities ceased to exist after Sindh Local Govt Ordinance 2001s abrogation in Karachi.
After the issuance of an ordinance by the acting governor, the City District Government Karachi and district governments and town administration have ceased to function.The statuses of administrators have become outdated legally and administrators, DCOs and town administrators would not be able to sign files.Some officials are of the view that the status quo should be maintained for some time in order to keep the system running. Anyhow, city government and officials and employees of towns are confused and waiting for clarity.
