Summary An influential landlord from Hafizabad sold a widow along with two children to grab her land.
According to details, Nasreen Bibi, a resident of Piplu, and her two sons were sold in Sindh. The family escaped from captivity after eight years and appeared at the DPO office in Hafizabad.Nasreen Bibi informed that close relative turned enemies after the death of her husband to grab her seven acres of agricultural land and shops worth lakhs of rupees. They moved Nasreen along with her two sons Ali Raza and Ulfat Raza to Sindh after making them unconscious and sold them. The family managed to escape after eight years and appeared in DPO office.Nasreen Bibi alleged that her influential relatives, Rai Munawwar, Sarfraz Kalo and Rai Fiaz have grabbed her property and are asking to leave the area. The family has also appealed to Chief Justice for provision of security and justice.Meanwhile, Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Abdur-ul-Rab Chaudhary has taken notice of the incident and ordered an inquiry.
