Summary Police officials have been released after successful talks with inmates.
The Prison DIG and the DPO held talks with the rioting prisoners. Police officials told the media that due demands of the prisoners had been accepted.Three prisoners were killed and 8 injured in police firing during the unrest the other day. The prisoners had taken six police officials hostage. At least eight police officials were also injured in the clash.
