Summary The three bank officers who were kidnapped from Karachi have been recovered.
The three have been recovered from the Kacha area of Sukkur. Najam Saqib, Nadeem and Asif Shahzad were abducted from Steel Town, Karachi on May 30. Their captors had demanded Rs 30 million ransom.Police said the three were kept in Shah Bailu area of Sukkur. Police and Rangers carried out a joint raid to free the bank officers. Their three captors have also been held, but not presented to the media. Sources said the culprits had been arrested in Karachi already while the bank officers’ release came about after the payment of ransom.
