Summary A medicine godown was reduced to ashes after fire broke out in Islamabad.
Fire erupted in the medical godown of WHO at Industrial Area in 9-i which encompassed the building. More than 100 firefighters and eight fire brigades took part to extinguish fire.A fire fighter got unconscious and was shifted to hospital.Incharge WHO Pakistan Dr Geddo said that there was no loss of human life;.Godown had different articles worth $0.4 million which were burnt to ases.There are four warehouses in different cities in Pakistan to provide relief to flood affected people. SSP Tahir said that fire broke out due to short circuit.
