Summary LHC has warned CCPO for appointing a proclaimed offender as SHO.
Court also warned the CCPO that if he told a lie in the court, he would have to face dire consequences.Sub-Inspector Abdul Shakoor was a declared proclaimed offender over fake investigation in a murder case at Islampura. During hearing of the case, CJ Ijaz Chaudhry while addressing the CCPO said that what kind of police officer he was if he had no information about SHO.CJ remarked that if any proclaimed offender was appointed as SHO, CCPO would be sent to jail.While giving reference to another case, the LHC CJ asked the CCPO to investigate how ex-SHO wed a married woman against her will. The case would be heard on July 5.
