Summary Three police officials were suspended on their alleged involvement in hiding explosive material.
The investigation regarding blast at police check post at Gaddafi Chow has been completed while SHO Safdar Naseer and another official Mushtaq were arrested after their confession of negligence and proof of accusation of hiding the explosive material in the storeroom.Meanwhile, a case was registered under the Police Order against the officials including Check Post Incharge Rehmat on their alleged negligence.According to the investigation, accused Safdar and Mushtaq seized the explosive material from a shop and hid it in the storeroom of the check post.The accused wanted to make money on the occasion of Shab-e-Baraat by selling the material but it exploded and the incident occurred.
