Load-shedding protest turns violent, WAPDA office burnt

Summary Protesters laid siege to WAPDA office in Dadu and set it on fire after damaging furniture.

On the call of Awami Ittehad, traders, shopkeepers and local people staged a protest against unscheduled load shedding. The protestors first burnt tyres on Indus Highway Road and blocked the road. They also pelted stones at vehicles before ransacking the WAPDA office.
