Summary Faisalabad is facing an acute shortage of petrol for the last two weeks.
The scarcity of petrol continues to trouble the people in Faisalabad, though petrol supply has been improved in Lahore.Petrol is available at only 100 petrol pumps out of 350 pumps of the city and long queues of vehicle have been seen at the pumps where petrol is available. The petrol stations owners say that the Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has dropped its supplies by 40 percent while the private companies have made a reduction in their supplies up to 80 percent.Although petrol is available at the PSO petrol pumps, its shortage has been observed at the petrol stations owned by private companies. Meanwhile, gas supply to CNG station in Lahore and other cities will be suspended for two days from today under the gas load management plan.
