Last year, the banks of the barrage were damaged due to heavy flood. One year has elapsed and yet the affected banks of the Bund have not been renovated which may be dangerous for Kala Bagh, Wanda Kakranwala, Mari city, and kutcha areas. Federal Minister Syed Naweed Qamar has said that the crisis of electricity could not be overcome in one night. The government intends to increase productive units of electricity, he concluded.
