Summary Sindh lawmakers offered Fateha for Zia Alam and other target killing victims.
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement lawmakers staged a token walkout in Sindh Assembly against the deteriorating law and order situation of Karachi. Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Khoro formed a three-member committee, headed by Sindh Law Minister Ayaz Soomro, to bring back the MQM members. The MQM lawmakers rejoined the session after being assured that actions would be taken to restore peace in Karachi. Earlier, Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Faisal Subzwari said that a state of restlessness was being created in Karachi and the government should arrest the people who were disrupting peace in Karachi.
