Summary Patients in the government hospitals are facing hardships due to young doctors strike.
Doctors in Quetta and other cities of Balochistan are observing strike for the past two months under the aegis of Young Doctors Association. The outpatient departments and operations theatres in the government hospitals have been shut down due to strike.The doctors have vowed to continue the strike until acceptance of their demands of pay raise and security at work places. The patients are facing hardships as no treatment is available at government hospitals.
