Summary Citizens tortured the warden while police opened aerial firing to disperse the mob.
A patient, Falak Sher, was being shifted to Mayo Hospital in a critical condition on a private car. When the vehicle reached Neela Gunbad Chowk, the driver broke the signal. The traffic warden, Asif stopped the car and asked for documents. During the exchange of harsh words, Falak Sher passed away.People and the family of the deceased staged a protest against the traffic warden’s behaviour. Police official reached the spot and arrested the warden. CTO has also suspended the warden.
