Summary A breach in temporary embankment in Layyah inundated homes and crops.
About 150 houses came under water while hundreds of acres of land was also inundated.Water increase in Sindh River put pressure on the dyke at Bikhrai Ahmed Khan. The villages Juglani, Pali, Basti Qasaee, Basti Panwar and Basti Chirki were affected.People are trying to cope with flood water on self-help basis. SDO Taunsa came up with a strange logic when he said temporary embankment was not under government control so his department was not responsible for the damage.
