Summary Traders of the iron market in Multan protested against WASA upon the closure of sewerage lines.
In a protest at the Shidi Laal Bridge, the protestors chanted slogans against the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA). They said that sewerage water had entered the shops and halted their businesses because of the negligence of the WASA administration.They demanded the WASA officials to take strong measures and steps towards maintenance of the sewerage system and threatened to go on strike and surround WASA office if no action was taken within 24 hours.
