Summary President Asif Ali Zardaris Security officer Bilal Shiekh escape a grenade attack in Karachi.

Unidentified armed men threw a grenade at a Pakistan People’s Party worker and a security officer of President Zardari, Bilal Sheikh in the Gulbahar area. Bilal survived the attack but during retaliation fire, the miscreants abandoned their car and fled. According to the police, more than three people carried out the attack. The police also seized the car used in the attack.On the other hand, a 30-year-old Saif-ul-Rehman man was shot by dacoits upon resistance in the Gulshan Ghazi area in Baldia. Earlier, a 27-year-old rickshaw driver Shezad Mashi was gunned down in the Zia Colony in Korangi. The police seized the body and started an investigation. According to the police, Shezad Mashi was a resident of Kashmir Colony.
