Summary Three days have passed but police have not registered a case against the accused who burnt a girl.
The victim, Neelam of village 440 had a dispute with her husband’s mother and sister who often used to torture her on petty issues.Both the women burnt her by sprinkling kerosene oil on her and nobody bothered to take her to the hospital. The doctors of Allied Hospital said that 40 percent body of the girl was burnt and there were little chances of her survival.According to SHO Samundri Usman Lashari, the police did not receive any application and case could not be registered only in the light of girl’s statement.
