Summary Industrialists say factories are already at the very of default due to energy crisis.
The industrialist and business community in Faisalabad has threatened to lock their factories and hand over the keys to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in protest against highhandedness of the Bank of Punjab administration.Addressing a joint press conference, the traders’ representatives said that an industrialist, Riaz Chawla, was arrested illegally. They alleged the police were harassing the industrialists ignoring the country’s laws.They said that industrial units were at the verge of default due to energy crisis. In this situation, the industrialists will be obliged to lock their factories hand over keys to the Punjab chief minister if the course of arrest is not stopped, they said.
