Summary The family members of a dead patient clashed with doctors.
A patient, Naeem died in Holy Family hospital Rawalpindi. The family members of the deceased alleged that negligence of the doctors was cause of his death.They scuffled with the doctors. Cameraman of Dunya News Tanveer Ahmad was also injured during the incident. The Young Doctors’ Association (YDA) alleged that some patients on ventilator also died due to the clash and 16 doctors were injured.Police registered a case against the people who allegedly clashed with the hospital staff. The young doctors announced to close the OPDs of the government hospitals today in protest against the incident.
