Summary During the current year, eleven cases of polio have been registered in the provinces.
A 3-day anti-polio campaign kicked off across the Sindh on Monday for immunization of children against the disease.The campaign started in various parts of the province and the children including those in remote areas of the country would be provided door-to-door anti-polio vaccination by volunteers and medical teams.During the three-day drive 6.5 million children of up to age of five years would be administered polio drops in the province. During the current year, eleven cases of polio have been registered in the provinces.
