Summary For the 10th day running KESC employees continue protest to press their demands.
About 4,500 employees of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) are on strike for the 10th day against sending them to the surplus pool. To express solidarity with workers, rest of the employees also stopped work in protest. Both the groups of workers got together and took out rally from the press club to arts council. Police remained all along with water cannons to meet any eventuality.
