Summary Police raided a factory in Arifwala and arrested a man involved in spice adulteration.
Allegedly, spices were being produced from the bones of dead animals.According to the details, Special Magistrate Rashida Batool raided a factory in the village of Arifwala with a police party and seized red chillies and other spices made with the help of dead animals’ bones.The accused have been dealing in red chillies for the last two years and were supplying it to Karachi, Lahore and other areas.The adulteration is on the increase in Pakistan while in the west it is considered a grave crime. There are very strict laws against this crime in the west. The situation in Pakistan is very different and this kind of business goes unchecked and one hardly finds a pure stuff.
