The residents of Imamia Colony in Lahore protested against the unscheduled load shedding by LESCO and chanted slogans against the authorities. They said that load shedding had disturbed their daily routine of life, adding that if the load shedding was not ended, their protest would continue. The police, however, negotiate with the protesters and resumed the traffic. The duration of power outage in all major cities has been increased to 12 hours a day while in rural areas it has been increased to 18 hours.
