Summary The nurses in Jinnah Hospital Lahore observed a strike after a patients family thrashed them.
Due to the increasing number of patients and lack of hospital beds in Jinnah Hospital, one bed had to be shared by two patients. The nurses were carrying out their duty when one of the patients started arguing with the nurses and later with the help of his family thrashed them. As a result the nurses observed a strike.Hospital administration called the police and they arrested the accused. Allama Iqbal Medical College Principal said that female guards will be hired for the protection of the nurses.
