Summary The Karachi Transport Ittehad (KTI) has announced to go on strike for an indefinite period from April 16.
Talking to Dunya News, President Karachi Transport Ittehad, Irshad Bukhari said although the government had assured to increase Rs 2 in fares, but the notification for this has not been issued yet.Therefore, the association has decided to observe strike till the implementation of the said assurance, Bukhari told.Sindh Minister for Transport Akhtar Hussain Jadoon said that the increase in fares has been decided and the notification in this regard would be issued soon.
