Summary After increase in the petrol prices, transporters have increased inter-city bus fares by Rs 100.
In a meeting, the Sindh Bus Owners Association increased the bus fares for different cities of Sindh and Punjab by Rs 50-100.Earlier on April 2, the association had brought a similar increase in the inter-city bus fares. After the current increase, the bus fares have collectively increased by 15 percent. According to the association, if the government withdraws their decision to increase the oil price then the fares will also be brought back to the previous levels.
