According to Fort Abbas Station House Officer (SHO) Javed Iqbal Gondal, a case of woman’s kidnapping was registered against Asad, son of Rehmat Ali, with Sillanwali Police Station. The woman was recovered within two months.The police raided Asad’s residence but he resorted to firing and killed six people, including three police constables and fled.The accused arrived in Fort Abbas to avoid the arrest, but on a tip-off the local police arrested him from the bus station and handed him over to the Sillanwali police.
