Kashmore and Ghotki police cordoned off the area near Indus River and surrounded more than 60 dacoits. Nine dacoits were killed in cross firing while a police official Sachal Mehr martyred during the operation.Grand search operation was started after SHO Hanif Mangrio was martyred in the attack on a police picket.The dead bodies of the dacoits and the martyred have been shifted to hospital for post-mortem.According to DPO, the operation will be started again today.
