Summary An accused under police custody in Noor Shah Police Station of Sheikhupura gunned down a voluntee.
According to DPO Rana Shahid, accused Fakir Hussain, involved in acts of dacoity, murder and other crimes, was arrested and taken to Noor Shah Police Station.The accused snatched pistol from Volunteer Muhammad Iqbal and opened fire. Resultantly, Iqbal died on the spot while the police officials encountered firing in which the accused was also killed. Meanwhile, family members of Muhammad Iqbal said that his murder may be planned conspiracy.
