Power looms owners and workers staged a sit-in in front of FESCO office Ghulam Muhammad. The protesters said that FESCO SDO was responsible for overbilling and bribe is demanded from the industrialists for correction of bills.They said that the FESCO officials cease the electric supply in several industrial areas without any prior announcement.The industrialists and workers chanted slogans against FESCO and threatened to surround the FESCO headquarter today if their demands were not accepted.The FESCO authorities and police negotiated with the protesters after a 2-hour demonstration and assured them to solve the issue.
