Summary The Martic exams did not start on time as female invigilators refused to show up for their duties.
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Peshawar, commenced the annual matric exams on Wednesday but the female invigilators had adready expressed their inability to perform their duties at the examination centres. As a result, exams in various schools across Peshawar did not start on time due to the lack of a female staff. Many children had to give their exams while sitting on the floor because some schools did not have sufficient chairs. Meanwhile, the Chairman of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar, Fazal Rabbi, stopped the Dunya News team from covering their shortcomings.
