Kandhkot: Armed attack on police station

According to details, more than twenty armed persons attacked Ghauspur Police station and started firing. Police officials on duty narrowly escaped but the accused kidnapped two constables including Fakir Muhammad Bhaiyo after torturing them. The accused also managed to get their three fellows released from the police custody.According to sources, the accused also snatched official arms from the police. DPO Kashmore Asad Raza immediately arrived at the police station and arrested two officials accused of negligence.The DPO called a heavy contingent of police from all over the district and surrounded Ali Bukhsh Village near Lai Kacha where the accused exchanged firing with the police which continued till the latest information. Tension prevailed in the area and the residents were terrified of the situation.
