2-year-old dies after falling into sewerage pond

2-year- old Hassan Mustafa of Chakira village near Narola Road was playing outside his house when he fell into a sewerage pond.The residents of the area tried their best to save the child but failed. The dead body of the child could be found after an attempt of 1 hour.The residents of the area protested against the government and said that ponds of dirty water could be seen everywhere due to the lack of sewerage system in the locality.The protesting residents told that a child also fell into the pond 2 months ago but the District Government was not serious to start development work in the area.
