Summary A love marriage couple was killed while a girl injured in the incident, Dunya News reported.
Some armed persons of Lashari tribe gunned down 40-year-old Hameeda Katohar and 30-year-old Gul Muhammad after couple’s love marriage, While, 20-year-old Bano also injured in the incident in Allah Bukhsh village of Khairpur.The dispute started 1 year back between Katohar and Lashari tribes on the issue of love marriage of a young man of Katohar tribe to a Lashari tribe woman on which the armed men of Lashari tribe attacked Gul Muhammad’s house and opened violent firing.After the incident, hundreds of Katohar tribe’s people took the dead bodies to Kot DG Road and staged a sit-in. The protesters burnt tyres and blocked the road for several hours and demanded the arrest of murderers.
