Four of a family died, three injured in house fire

Kosar Parven went to kitchen to boil milk for her two-month-old son Hassan. The moment she lit a match stick, a fire erupted with an explosion as the gas pipe was leaking. The fire claimed her three children: two-month-old Hassan, 14-year-old Amna and four-year-old Zainab. Kosar’s sister 18-year-old Gulnaz also died in the incident. Kosar, her 16-year-old son Hasnain and a daughter severely burnt by fire. The Rescue 1122 squad extinguished the fire and moved the burnt persons to the Burn Center of the Holy Family Hospital. The dead bodies were shifted to the Rawalpindi District Headquarters Hospital.
