According to details, fire broke out at a plastic pipe godown situated at Shekhupura Fransisabad area in Gujranwala in the early hours of Thursday which spread very quickly due to heavy winds.Low intensity blasts were also heard from the site of the blaze. The firefighters are facing difficulties to bring the fire under control due to heavy winds.The sources have feared loss of millions of rupees in the incident. The rescue teams have evacuated the houses surrounding the godown while the road leading to Sheikhupura has been also blocked due to fire.
