Summary Nursing students of Sheikh Zayed hospital ended their protests after successful talks with admin.
The nurses were protesting to increase their allowances so that it is equivalent to the allowances given to nurses of other hospitals of Punjab.They lamented that the nurses of other hospitals of Punjab are getting between Rs 12,000 to 18,000 while they were given an allowance of only Rs 5,100.The nurses called off their strike as the hospital administration assured that their demands will be forwarded to Punjab government for further action.
