Summary Rawalpindi court has awarded death sentence to the accused who threw acid on the victim woman.
The accused was produced in the court of additional sessions judge Naveed Iqbal who while assessing the evidence awarded death sentence to the accused Muhammad Asif with fine worth half a million rupees.Three years back, the convicted Muhammad Asif had thrown acid on victim Gulnar Bibi who was treated in hospital for 26 days and latter passed away.So far as the accused Asif was concerned, he remained underground for two years after occurrence of the incident.
