Summary Citizens staged a protest demonstration against the police on Sunday over rising robbery incidents.
The protest was held after some traders were robbed near Samundri road last night. Witnesses said the suspects were wearing police uniform.The protesters said the police had yet to take action against a gang of robbers operating in the area.They said several applications had been submitted to ensure safety of the citizens.
