Summary The death toll in roof collapse of a shop in Gujranwala reached 10 after one more body recovered.
According to details, the roof of an under-construction shop in Satellite Town in Gujranwala collapsed after an explosion occurred due to short circuit. Later, the building caught fire and a number of employees and clients present in the store were buried under the debris.The rescue teams reached the site of occurrence and pulled 19 people and shifted them to the hospital where five people including 2 kids succumbed to injuries. The rescue workers also recovered five more dead bodies from the debris while search of five more person is still on.The deceased kids are reportedly said to be of 2 and 4 years old.
