Summary Protesting vocational institutes employees spent night in front of CM house in Lahore.
The employees of the vocational institutions from all over Punjab staged a sit-in protest in front of the Chief Minister House in Lahore earlier in the day. The employees of the vocational institutions are demanding regular pay scale like other government servants.They were of the view that their demand was not met despite assurance given by Chief Minister Punjab some one month ago. The protesters, including a large number of women, spent the night in their protest camp in front of CM house on Club Road. The vowed to continue their sit-in protest till the acceptance of their demands.Meanwhile, the DCO Lahore Noor-ul-Ameen held talks with protesters to convince them to end their protest. However, the porters refused to end their protest till the acceptance of their demands.
